Mike has been actively involved in the fitness industry for the past 12 years as a Personal Trainer, lecturer and author. He has helped hundreds of individuals of varying age and experience with everything from fat loss and general health to active rehabilitation and athletic performance. Mike has an extensive background in anatomy and exercise science, and is a diligent researcher of nutritional science and the psychology of motivation. He has applied his knowledge towards helping clients as well as educating current and prospective personal trainers. He has a true passion for teaching and helping people succeed.
Mike has authored several fitness-related articles in both general and personal training-related publications, and is a regular contributor to Diet Blog — a premier health and nutrition website. He has also been published in Impact Magazine, Check-up, Personal Trainer Canada as well as quoted in Macleans magazine and the Vancouver Sun.
Debbie McPherson, BCRPA
Debbie believes that exercise is essential to good mental and physical health and that it gives us energy and a greater ability to successfully achieve all the things we strive to do in our daily lives.
Debbie is a certified BCRPA Personal Trainer who feels that a healthy way of life is about balancing your mind and body and that it is fundamental to incorporate fun into your active lifestyle routine. She is a driven professional with the ability to inspire and lead others and who believes the role of a fitness leader to be one of knowledge, support and encouragement; a teacher assisting people in obtaining their goals and striving towards personal growth and achievements. She will demonstrate the positive impact exercise has had on her life, while creating a personalized fitness routine to meet every individual’s realistic needs and attainable goals.
